City CO₂ Emissions Data

Carbon Dioxide emissions from Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Tucson were produced under the Southwest Integrated Urban Field Laboratory (SWIFL) research project (funded by the Department of Energy). These estimates represent application of the Hestia approach - a high-resolution CO2 emissions quantification system developed by the research team of Dr. Kevin Robert Gurney at Northern Arizona University.
